Robert Charles Fraser - Executive Chef

I Fell in love with the art of cooking in my grandmothers kitchen. I felt the joy it brought my family when we gathered around the table. I saw my grandmother feed a family of 6 with very little to offer financially and she still managed to create some of the most memorable meals till this day. Fast Forward, I developed such a passion for cooking that I decided to pursue my career in culinary arts at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Subsequently, I initiated my career and had the opportunity to work alongside, Michelin Star Trained Chef Jacque’ Larsen at the Scarsdale Country Club in Westchester County, NY. There I was able to take all that I learned and absorbed all the training that I could. I then moved on to some of the most celebrated restaurants in NYC, such as, Tabla, Eleven Madison Park and the Livanos Restaurant Group which included Cafe Meze’.  I decided at that point to fulfill my dream of owning and operating my own restaurant so I opened Lakeview Tavern in Yonkers, NY. Five years in, I realized that the location wasn’t the best for what I had to offer so decided to end my lease there. At that point, I went on to do various jobs that ultimately did not interest me, I always felt like I was “working” something I never felt when I created dishes. I did some soul searching and found myself back in the kitchen and back again being passionate about cooking. I am happy to say, I don’t feel like I work a day in my life, because I absolutely love what I do! Looking forward to the opportunity of serving others with the best seasonal catering services!
